Dr. Jennifer Arias, PsyD
Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Dr. Jennifer Arias, a licensed Latinx psychologist in Los Angeles, California. I work with young adults, women, first-generation college students, and busy professionals who are tired of just getting through life and are ready to live it with intention, clarity, and self-trust.
As a fellow high-achiever, over-functioner, and recovering perfectionist, I know how exhausting it can be to carry too much—especially when you feel like you always have to hold it together. The pressure to be strong, successful, and available to everyone else can leave little room for you.
In our work together, we’ll slow things down. We’ll look at the deeper patterns—rooted in family, culture, and history—that may be driving your anxiety, burnout, or people-pleasing. I specialize in helping clients connect the dots between their past and present, so they can move forward with more freedom, authenticity, and joy.
I also work with couples who feel distant, disconnected, or stuck in painful cycles. If you’re longing to feel close again, to rebuild trust, or to remember what it’s like to be a team—there’s hope. I help partners navigate conflict with more compassion, improve communication, and rediscover the love that brought them together in the first place.
My passion is helping women—especially women of color—find their voice beneath the noise of fear, obligation, and guilt (what I call the “FOG”). So many of us were taught to survive, not to thrive. Therapy is a space to unlearn what no longer serves you and make space for what does.
I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen—not just as a collection of symptoms, but as a whole person with a story that matters. Together, we’ll help you build a life and relationships that honor your strengths, your values, and your desire to make your life count—not just for others, but for yourself.
You don’t have to stay stuck in patterns that leave you feeling small, overworked, disconnected, or invisible..
You can be empowered and free. Imperfect and bold anyway. And learn to give and receive love that actually feels good—the kind
If you’re ready to begin that journey, I’m here to help. Reach out today for a free consultation.
